I'm Troy Nordyke. I've spent more than 15 years in senior HSE roles across heavy industrial construction, the oil sands, mining, and remote operations in Western Canada and Alaska, and I'm still in the field today. Safe Haven HSE Consulting is how I put that judgment to work for hiring: a Canada-wide shortlist of HSE people for construction and industrial roles.
I look at the work someone has actually done. Crews, supervisors, production pressure, and whether they can hold a safety role when the site is moving. That is the standard I use before I introduce anyone.
